This continuation of the Bite project documents my personal and collective struggle in the first 21 days following the election of 2024, a time marked by global political instability and the ever-present uncertainty surrounding the Middle East. During this period, I processed clay and threw a series of pieces on the potter’s wheel, but only seven clay bodies from six states endured the process and were ultimately bitten. This series challenges the linear narratives of progress and power, documenting a raw, tactile response to uncertain times. The clay becomes both a witness and an archive, carrying the memory of place, action, and struggle—evidence of the moments that shape us and the futures we dare to imagine.
